This is the project I've always wanted to do. This is the project that takes me back to what excites me. Being in the world, collaborating with people, meeting communities.
Momo and I first made books travelling the world and I'd take pictures of him hiding just about everywhere. People described it as "real life Where's Waldo", which was a badge of honour considering these were some of my favourite books as a kid.
One thing I've always wanted to do with Momo was invite people to help me create busy scenes. To really just play and have fun in real life. To be the busy scenes. Really Where's Waldo-y. Can I legally say that? Regardless, this project is my effort in fulfilling that dream.
Check the city list! If I'm going there, sign up, and come by. Bring your friends. The more the merrier. I'll send you details on what to expect and everything you need to know beforehand.
It's me, Andrew Knapp. And Yaya and Boo, of course. Yaya is a 4 year old Border Collie and Momo's nephew. Boo was rescued from behind a Whattaburger and he's about 6.

I'm so excited you decided to join. This project is not possible without your participation. I really do believe we're better when we get together, and hope we can have some fun along the way. The photo itself won't take too long to capture, but plan for about an hour.
I'd like to make as many photos as possible! If there's enough interest in your city, I'll do everything I can to stop there.
